The 15 Best Beverly Hills Coffee Shops

As someone who loves checking out new coffee spots, I’ve had my fair share of caffeine in Beverly Hills. It’s one of the most walkable areas in Los Angeles, which means you can easily visit a bunch of coffee shops in just one trip.

The Golden Triangle area, known for its high-end shops and restaurants, is packed with great coffee and quick bites. Walk along Beverly Drive, right next to Rodeo Drive, and you’ll stumble upon one of the best coffee streets in the city.

Beverly Hills is an ideal place for coffee lovers, with a massive range of options. Let’s explore my recommendations based on the many that I tried as a local.

1. Aharon Coffee & Roasting Co.

Location: 9467 Charleville Blvd, Beverly Hills, CA 90212

This is a controversial statement, but Aharon is the best Beverly Hills Coffee Shop.

  • The shop doubles as a roastery and a cafe, so when you walk in, you see large metal machines making specialty batches.
  • The result is flavorful cappuccinos, lattes, and espresso that pack a bunch and give you a caffeine hit.
  • Coffee this good comes at a premium; it’s more expensive than most in the area. A single iced coffee can set you back about $6-$8.
  • They serve good gluten-free and vegan pastry options here.

2. Pascal on Beverly

Location: 200 S Beverly Dr, Beverly Hills, CA 90212, United States

One of Beverly Hills’s more well-known spots, Pascal is located in a red brick building on the corner of Beverly and Charleville.

  • Pascal has some of the more affordable coffee options in the area, with espressos and cappuccinos running for $4 or less.
  • The food cabinet has so many options that it can be overwhelming. The fruit danishes are the standouts.
  • It could be better for seating, with tight quarters on a busy intersection. Because of that, I recommend getting something to go.

3. andSons

Location: 9548 Brighton Way, Beverly Hills, CA 90210, United States

andSons is actually a chocolate shop that has a café extension, and they serve some tasty coffee.

  • It’s an outdoor walk-up, better as a grab-and-go than to spend a lot of time. There is outdoor seating, but it’s limited and extends into the busy sidewalk.
  • They serve the usual selection but also rotate wonderful specials. Some of their coffee blends are the Cherry Blossom Latte, Irish Toffee Latte, and Macadamia White Mocha.
  • If you plan on going often, they give out punch cards, where you get one free coffee after you buy ten.

4. Chaumont Bakery

Location: 143 S Beverly Dr, Beverly Hills, CA 90212

If you’re in the mood for a pastry, Chaumont is one of the best coffee shops for croissants (especially almond).

  • There’s also a HUGE selection of danishes and muffins; it’s a pastry paradise.
  • On the coffee menu, I recommend the matcha latte. I don’t like my matcha too “earthy” tasting, and Chaumont has ticked that box.
  • If you look on the map and see two Chaumont’s, you’re not seeing double. There’s a Chaumont Bakery and, next door, a Chaumont Vegan.
  • Chaumont Vegan has less of a brunch/lunch menu and more of an emphasis on vegan pastries. The seating at Chaumont Vegan is more comfortable and casual, with a couple of couches.

5. Urth Caffe

Location: 267 S Beverly Dr, Beverly Hills, CA 90212

Urth Caffé is a spot where you can grab unique options like a Spanish Latte Granita, a Green Rose Latte, tea drinks, and smoothies.

  • However, my favorite is the Honey Vanilla Latte, a sweet option that feels more like a dessert.
  • They give you an oversized coffee cup if you dine in, so it’s a good bang for your buck.
  • Urth Caffé has one of the larger seating areas in Beverly Hills. There’s an indoor area (with a fireplace) and a massive outdoor seating area that spans from a deck to the sidewalk.
  • It’s popular and almost always crowded. Be prepared to wait for a table to open up.
  • The menu at Urth is large, and the food and pastries are delicious; there’s everything from cakes to omelettes.

6. La Colombe Coffee Roasters

Location: 9606 S Santa Monica Blvd suite 100-a, Beverly Hills, CA 90210, United States

La Colombe has a beautiful interior with big windows looking out to Santa Monica Blvd.

  • The oat draft latte is the best drink they serve. They sell it in cans, but I recommend trying it made in the shop.
  • They have a good selection of pastries, like an almond croissant or a turkey and cheese croissant.
  • There are also some good gluten-free or vegan options, with their pear cake or banana pecan cake.

7. Avva Coffee

Location: 9559 S Santa Monica Blvd, Beverly Hills, CA 90210, United States

Avva is modest, discreet, and has a warm and cozy atmosphere.

  • Even though it’s on busy Santa Monica Blvd., it’s quiet. You can have a coffee, work, or socialize without the crowds.
  • Speaking of work, this is a great coffee shop for that. It has free WiFi and cozy booths, so you can easily spend hours there.
  • They have delicious coffee, hot chocolate, and a good assortment of treats on the counter.

8. Parakeet Cafe

Location: 206 S Beverly Dr, Beverly Hills, CA 90212

Parakeet is one of the newer coffee shops in Beverly Hills, and it has a stylish, spacious interior.

  • It’s lavishly decorated, with colorful parakeet wallpaper and a striking striped floor.
  • It’s hard to find good coffee shop WiFi in Beverly Hills, and this has it, along with ample workspace.
  • It’s one of the best spots to meet up with a friend, as it’s not often overcrowded, and you can sit indoors or outdoors.
  • The food can be expensive, but they make great avocado toast and waffles.
  • The best bang for your buck is the cold brew coffee; it’s strong enough to where you won’t need seconds.

9. Blue Bottle Coffee

Location: 132 S Beverly Dr, Beverly Hills, CA 90212

Blue Bottle is a staple in LA, and this one has WiFi and a good working space.

  • The coffee shop spans two levels. The lower-level tables are close together, so they’re better for socializing than working. The upper level has longer and more spread-out tables, which are better for using your laptop.
  • The lower level is more airy and has better natural light, while the top is loft-style and lacks the same sunlight.
  • While they have WiFi, it’s spotty and can occasionally give out.
  • As far as coffee goes, the New Orleans-style iced coffee is the favorite. You can also buy a bag of beans, which are great.
  • There are a few pastries, but not a huge selection. The best one I’ve tried is the Pumpkin Chocolate Chip loaf.

10. Euro Caffe

Location: 427 N Canon Dr #111, Beverly Hills, CA 90210

Euro Caffe is hidden in a side area off Canon Dr. in the Golden Triangle.

  • It’s in a quiet courtyard and very European. You’ll feel like you’re in the Mediterranean.
  • It’s more of a food place, so their coffee menu isn’t expansive; they have the basics. However, they have a nice selection of iced coffee, including the classic Italian Shakerato.
  • Next door is an Italian grocery store called Euro Gastronomia (owned by the same people). Be sure to stop by afterward to check out their selections of Italian pasta, sauces, and desserts.

11. Alfred Coffee

Location: 490 N Beverly Dr, Beverly Hills, CA 90210, United States

On the intersection of Santa Monica and Beverly, Alfred Coffee is in a prime Beverly Hills location.

  • This location means that you can walk north to explore the Flats or go south to explore the Golden Triangle.
  • Alfred always markets the Iced Vanilla Latte, and I have to admit, it lives up to the hype. It was flavorful without being too sweet.
  • This location is better for grabbing a quick coffee, with the only indoor seating option being a long window bench. There’s outdoor seating, but it’s loud because it’s next to Santa Monica Blvd.
  • There are some decent food options here, like sandwiches and croissants. I’ve had a wonderful blueberry muffin here.

12. Le Pain Quotidien

Location: 9630 S Santa Monica Blvd, Beverly Hills, CA 90210, United States

Le Pain Quotidien is in a few places in Los Angeles, and wherever it is, I always love visiting this French bakery and cafe.

  • Their coffee is well-brewed, and they have other options like chai and matcha lattes.
  • There’s a lot of seating, and most of it is indoors. I’ve noticed there are many tables for two people, so it’s a good place to go with a friend or on a date.
  • The best part about Le Pain is the bread; it’s fresh, and they serve it on fantastic tartines.

13. Ladurée

Location: 311 N Beverly Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90210, United States

In the spirit of France, Ladurée gives Le Pain a run for its money.

  • It’s like the Palace of Versailles came to Beverly Hills. The decor is an explosion of pinks, greens, and fancy seating.
  • As far as drinks, the coffee is straightforward, but the real standout is the tea. It’s one of the few places in the area where you can have high tea, and the portions are generous.
  • It’s a true tea room, with unique options like Caramel Black Tea, Madagascar Vanilla, and Chinese Violet.
  • You can’t go to Ladurée and miss the macarons; they serve them in tower style if you really want to indulge.

14. Philz Coffee

Location: 233 S Beverly Dr B, Beverly Hills, CA 90212, United States

Even though Philz is more of a chain, they give you more options than most.

  • Whether you order a hot or iced coffee, you can customize your choice from multiple roast styles.
  • They offer unique coffee drinks, like gingersnap and mint mojito.
  • There isn’t much seating inside, but Philz has one of the best outdoor seating areas, especially if you want to work. The patio gets a lot of sun, and the WiFi is reliable.
  • They serve light bites, like breakfast sandwiches and pastries, but I wouldn’t recommend them.

15. The Maybourne Cafe

Location: 225 N Canon Dr, Beverly Hills, CA 90210, United States

More upscale than others on this list, The Maybourne Cafe (inside The Maybourne Hotel) offers delicious coffee and comfortable and spacious seating.

  • It’s worth repeating: The Maybourne is expensive. But with the high food quality and fresh juices, you get what you pay for.
  • The banana bread offers the best value. It’s more of a loaf than a slice.
  • There’s indoor and outdoor seating; indoor is more casual, where you can work, while outdoor feels more like a dining experience.
  • Of all the hotel cafes in Beverly Hills (Beverly Wilshire, Beverly Hills Hotel, Beverly Hilton), The Maybourne is the best casual option.
